You can use ShopSite with your favorite Web page editor to quickly and easily convert your existing non-commerce Web site into a commerce-enabled site to sell your products online. All ShopSite products include the OrderAnywhere feature, which lets you create "Add to Cart" and "View Cart" buttons that you can add to your existing pages. Customers can click on "Add to Cart" buttons on your site to buy your products using the fully-functional ShopSite shopping cart, which supports secure credit card payments, configurable shipping and tax options, and e-mail notification of orders.
The OrderAnywhere feature is designed to work with graphical and text-based Web page design software such as Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver or HomeSite, and Adobe GoLive. You can take advantage of the page layout and design features in the tools you know and let ShopSite handle the e-commerce. You can use OrderAnywhere to commerce-enable an existing site, or use your tool to create a new site from scratch and add commerce functions with OrderAnywhere.

Do I have to move my existing web site to use ShopSite?
No. Though you will still need to have ShopSite hosting with one of our hosting partners, you can integrate the ShopSite shopping cart on one server with your existing web site that is located on another server. When your customer clicks a button to order something, they will automatically be taken from one to the other. It will be transparent and they will probably never notice that it has happened.
How easy is it to copy buttons from ShopSite to my HTML authoring program?
ShopSite gives you three easy ways to copy OrderAnywhere buttons and links from ShopSite to your HTML authoring program.
What about security?
ShopSite takes advantage of SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the standard for internet encryption and security. Currently, there's no better way to secure online transactions.
Can I move my ShopSite store to another host?
Absolutely. Any of our ShopSite Hosting Partners can host your ShopSite store. If your current hosting provider does not offer ShopSite hosting, have them contact us and we can give them the information they need to get started.
Do I have to download anything to use ShopSite?
Nope. ShopSite is server software, so all executables exist and run on the server. Your only interface is with your web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape Navigator, or Netscape Communicator.
