Customizing the Ad on E-mail Receipts

By default, ShopSite Lite puts the following text and URL on the receipts that are e-mailed to customers to confirm a purchase:

You can change the text and the URL that appears on the receipts.

To customize the text on e-mail receipts:
  1. Edit the global.aa file in the SHOPSITE_DIRECTORY and add the following line:

    lite_email_html: your message

    where your message is the text that you want to appear at the bottom of customer e-mail receipts. If you think the majority of your customers can receive e-mail with HTML in it, you can include HTML tags, including URLs and links to your store.
