E-Commerce Vendor ShopSite Announces Version 12 SP2 of Leading Shopping Cart System

-Popular software adds support for TLS v 1.2, Powerful merchant product search, and automatic one-time use coupons.

October 27, 2015, Orem, Utah -- ShopSite, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce shopping cart and catalog software for small to medium-sized businesses, announced the release of Service Pack 2 (SP2) for ShopSite version 12. ShopSite® is an industry leading e-commerce software option for web hosting providers, for new and experienced Internet merchants, and for Web designers.

"We are excited to include a powerful back office product search so that merchants with many products can easily refine their search for access to just the products they want to modify" said ShopSite CEO David Hills. "And if you only have a few products, the search displays a thumbnail image to make selecting the correct product even simpler," added Hills. "The automatic creation of a unique one-time coupon after an order completes can help keep shoppers coming back for more purchases," said Hills, "and in addition to features the merchant can see, we've incorporated important behind the scenes functionality to increase security by supporting TLS v1.2," said Hills. "PCI is requiring all stores to support the TLS v1.2 protocol by June of 2016, and many security firms recommend using it now."
