Using Extra Product Fields

Extra product fields are available in ShopSite Pro. These fields are not used in any of the ShopSite built in product templates but can be added in your own product template. These fields are used to display additional information on your product pages.

One common use for extra product fields would be to display product information such as manufacturer. To do this you would first enter the manufacturer name in the extra product field 1 by going to Products > Edit Product Info. After you have entered in that information you can then add in the tag to display that information in your template. The code would look similar to:

Large example using many extra product fields and some regular product fields to display information. With the setup shown below the field will only be displayed if there is information entered in that field for that product. If you have not entered in the information then the field will be skipped.
