Job Description
Test eCommerce software. We provide Shopping Cart software that resides on Linux and FreeBSD servers. You will primarily be testing the Merchant and Shopper interface via web browsers as well as installation on Linux and FreeBSD Servers. You will log bugs, communicate with engineers, respond to and test customer reported issues, and handle small projects to assist with customer needs.
This is a great job for a student wanting a flexible schedule for classes while working full time between semesters.
Preferred Experience
1 year of college in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, IT. Experience with browsers, mobile apps, Windows, HTML, SSH, FTP, SQL and scripting preferred. Familiarity with Linux and/or FreeBSD Server as well as virtual machines is a plus. As is previous testing experience or experience debugging and/or using browser debuggers.
