E-Commerce Vendor ShopSite Announces Version 11 SP2 of Leading Shopping Cart System

-Popular software adds support for WordPress and Product Reviews

ShopSite® is an industry leading e-commerce software option for web hosting providers, for new and experienced Internet merchants, and for Web designers.

"We are excited to add WordPress support to ShopSite Starter, Manager and Pro stores" said ShopSite CEO David Hills. "With ShopSite and our WordPress plugin, merchants can now add their products to their blog directly from within WordPress," said Hills.

Product Reviews are also new in ShopSite Pro. "Our customers now help us sell our products," said Nikolaus Gruchot of www.WaterSafetyShop.com. "Customers trust other customers. Besides helping other shoppers to select the right products and therefore increasing customer satisfaction, the new ShopSite Product Review feature will also help improve search engine optimization (SEO)." Added Hills, "There is a lot of flexibility in how the merchant sets up Reviews. For example, they can let any shopper leave a product review or limit review writing only to those that purchased the product. Merchants can also set up an automatic email reminder for the shopper to review the products they recently purchased."

Other New Features in v11 sp2

Pinterest support (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Customers can now follow merchants on Pinterest and "pin" product images from the store to their boards.

Customer-facing Inventory Tracking (Pro)
Customers can now see the product inventory remaining on Product More Information pages.

Global Shopex International Shipping (Pro)
Integration with Global Shopex International Shipping allows merchants to ship internationally, handling all tariffs and dues required of the international customer.

Merchant Alerts (Pro)
Merchant Alerts notify the merchant of potential problems with shipping systems and failed orders through the back office dashboard and email.

Customer Reorder from History (Pro)
Customers that have registered can now add all available products from a previous purchase into the shopping cart for reorder.
