E-Commerce Vendor ShopSite Announces Version 8.1 of Leading Shopping Cart System

-Popular software passed Visa CISP validation and adds eBay integration.

"8.1 allows customers to list products on eBay from within the application, allowing merchants to increase their customer base," said CEO David Hills. As a member of the eBay Developers Program, ShopSite uses the eBay APIs to allow merchants to easily list products from their ShopSite store on eBay with just two clicks.

Version 8.1 has passed Visa's CISP Payment Application Best Practices validation. The CISP Payment Application Best Practices establishes a set of 13 best practices designed to protect sensitive information from being compromised. ShopSite merchants that follow Visa's best practices guidelines can be assured that they are processing card holder information at the highest security level.

Building on existing features, ShopSite has also added the following:

  • PayPal Website Payments Pro support for Authorization Mode
  • New Themes and color schemes that the merchant can select
  • Support for the UK based NetBanx payment gateway
  • Public/Private key encryption as well as incorporating the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)
