Element Templates

List Of Template Files

Below is a list of template files that are being used by the Element templates as well as a brief description of how or where the file is being used. Not all files are being used in all stores.

To modify any of these template files you would go to Merchandising > Custom Templates, and click on the section the template file is in (i.e. "Product Templates" or the product template files or "Include Files" for include or publish files). Then click on "Copy ShopSite Template." Make a copy of the ShopSite template you want to edit. Save changes. Then make a copy of your copy and rename it the exact same name as the original. (You can then delete your original copy with a different name). Your copy will override the original template file. If you ever want to revert back to the original template file you can simply delete (or rename) your copied file and regenerate your site.

Page Templates

Element-Page.sst - Default page template.
Element-Page-NoSideMenus.sst - Optional page template with same layout as the default, but without the side navigation menus.
Element-Page-SideSlide.sst - Page template used in the "All Side", "Dark Rim", "Flank", and "Rim" themes. It displays the header, logo, navigation and other site-wide elements in the left navigation menu.
Element-Page-TopCategories.sst - Optional page template that displays page sublinks at the top of the page.

Product Templates

Element-Product.sst - Default product template for most themes using the Element templates.
Element-Product-NoSideMenus.sst - Optional product template that omits the side navigation menus on the more information page.
Element-Product-SideSlide.sst - Product template used in the "All Side", "Dark Rim", "Flank" and "Rim" themes.
Element-Product-Tabs.sst - Optional product template that displays additional product fields in tabs instead of an accordion layout.
Element-Product-TopCategories.sst - Optional product template that pairs with the Element-Page-TopCategories.sst template.
Element-SubProductPrice.sst - template only used for displaying the subproduct price range on pages.

Element-Cart.sst - Shopping cart template.
Element-Search.sst - Search results template.
Element-GiftCert.sst - Gift certificate template.
Element-Registration.sst - Customer registration template.
Element-WishList.sst - Wish list template.

Include Files

Element-Carousel.sst - Used in page templates to display the carousel and/or page banner graphic.
Element-DOCTYPE.sst - Used in all template types for the DOCTYPE setting and global meta tags.
Element-Footer.sst - Used in all template types. Contains the footer code for all footer variations.
Element-Head.sst - Used in all template types to add any needed CSS and JavaScript into the <head> section.
Element-Header.sst - Used in all template types. Contains the header code for all header variations.
Element-Header-LeftNav.sst - Header for themes using the "-SideSlide.sst" template files.
Element-LeftNav.sst - Used if the global left navigation menu is turned on.
Element-MiniCart.sst - Linked to from CJ-Header.sst to add the mini cart HTML to the header.
Element-Modals.sst - Contains nearly all store modals such as size/fit modal and the abandon cart modal.
Element-Navigation.sst - Linked to from CJ-Header.sst to add the global navigation menu to the header.
Element-PreEndBody.sst - Include file displayed before the </body> tag in all template types.
Element-PreEndHead.sst - Include file displayed before the </head> tag in all template types.
Element-ProductAddToCart.sst - Contains the form for a product's add to cart section.
Element-ProductDefine.sst - Linked to in the product define section and cross sell sections to control how products appear on category pages and in cross sell sections.
Element-ProductMoreInfoImageRow.sst - Linked to from the product template. Displays all product images on the more information page.
Element-ProductPrice.sst - Linked to from CJ-ProductDefine.sst to add the HTML for the product price display.
Element-RegistrationBottom.sst - Linked to from CJ-Registration.sst and CJ-WishList.sst to add all the HTML, includes and VARs needed below the main content on registration and wish list screens.
Element-RegistrationTop.sst - Linked to from CJ-Registration.sst and CJ-WishList.sst to add all the HTML, includes and VARs needed above the main content on registration and wish list screens.
Element-Rightnav.sst - Used if the global right navigation menu is turned on.
Element-SameCategoryProducts.sst - Optional include file to display products from the same category on more information pages as cross sell products.
Element-SearchForm.sst - Linked to from CJ-Header.sst to add the search field to the header variations.

element.css - main CSS file for all Element themes.
element-bootstrap.min.css - Twitter Bootstrap file used in all Element themes.
element-bootstrap.min.js - Twitter Bootstrap file used in all Element themes.
wow.min.js - JavaScript file used for animations.
allside.css - CSS specific to the All Side theme.
darkuniform.css - CSS specific to the Dark Uniform theme.
edge.css - CSS specific to the Edge theme.
editorial.css - CSS specific to the Editorial theme.
flank.css - CSS specific to the Flank theme.
rim.css - CSS specific to the Rim and Dark Rim themes.
ringer.css - CSS specific to the ringer theme.
roomy.css - CSS specific to the Roomy theme.
tilt.css - CSS specific to the Tilt theme.
tranquil.css - CSS specific to the Tranquil theme.
uniform.css - CSS specific to the Uniform theme.
