The template tips on this page are available in ShopSite Pro stores using the latest version of ShopSite; tips may not be available in older versions of ShopSite or in the Manager or Starter levels of ShopSite.

  1. Custom Shopping Cart Without A Custom Template - Would you like to have a custom look for your shopping cart pages without learning how to create a custom template? This can be done by adding your own code/design to the shopping cart header and footer fields within the back office of ShopSite. This will create a wrap of your home page HTML around the default shopping cart template.
  2. Quick & Easy Custom Templates - In ShopSite Manager and ShopSite Pro you have the option to create your own custom templates for your online store. Custom templates are a very powerful tool which allows you to get the look and feel that you want for your ShopSite store while still maintaining the use of the ShopSite features within the backoffice of your store. It is this reason that custom templates do have a learning curve involved. You would need to setup the code for your custom template in a way that it still utilities the ShopSite features which you want for your store. This is where the Quick & Easy template section comes in.

Multi Add To Cart Custom Page Template and Custom Product Template - You can use specially-designed page and product templates that let customers check boxes for items that they want to buy and then click one [Add to Cart] button to add them all to the shopping cart. The basic idea is that you are creating an HTML form. The opening and closing FORM tags must be in the page template, while the product template contains the HTML and custom tags to display each product with a checkbox.
